I've had a OH Trekker for some time and love it, but simply had to own one of these (same knife, different scales) because of the eagle crest. I find this knife to be the absolute perfect carry knife for someone like me who doesn't mind a large knife in his pocket. The main blade serrations are out front where they'll do the most good, and are easy enough to remove if you don't like them. The large screw driver has a liner lock, as does the main blade. The wood saw is a marvel. There is no reason it should cut as good as it does, but it's very effective. The only thing I miss on this knife that the commercial OHT has is the toothpick and tweezers. It's not often I have a need for either, but when I do it's nice to have them there. That fact aside, there's not a knife made by any manufacturer that I would rather have in my pocket day in and day out than this one or its twin, the commercial model OHT. There's virtually nothing you'll need a knife to do that this knife won't do. |
